EdgeVisor ("we", "us", "our") operates the website edgevisor.net and related services. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data processed through our platform.
EdgeVisor is an AI-powered analytics platform for prediction markets. We provide research tools, market analysis, and decision support. We are not a financial advisor, broker, or trading platform.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
2.1 Account data
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you sign in via Google OAuth or a crypto wallet, we receive the corresponding identifier (email or wallet address).
2.2 Usage data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our service: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and approximate duration of sessions.
2.3 Technical data
Your browser type, operating system, screen resolution, IP address (anonymized for analytics), and referral source.
2.4 Billing data
If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your payment card details. We store only the subscription status, plan type, and Stripe customer ID — never your full card number.
2.5 Communication data
If you contact us via email or the contact form, we retain the content of that communication for support purposes.

Anonymized analytics data may be kept indefinitely because it cannot be traced back to you.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

- Encrypted database connections (SSL/TLS to Neon PostgreSQL)
- Password hashing with bcrypt
- API key hashing — we never store raw keys
- Rate limiting and IP-based abuse detection

10. Children's privacy
Our service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
